Toni, a tomboyish boxer, lands a spot on an after-school drill crew within the West Finish neighborhood of Cincinnati. She eagerly absorbs routines, masters drills, and even pierces her personal ears to slot in. It’s the enjoyment of her first friendships and her discovery of dance. Shortly after Toni joins the crew, many of the women on the crew undergo from episodes of fainting, swooning, and shaking in a seemingly uncontrollable catharsis. No person can clarify the mysterious outbreak. These suits quickly remodel right into a ceremony of passage because the trauma attracts the opposite women nearer collectively.
